Take a look at our traditional monuments and modern culture in Tokyo and visit Hakone where you can enjoy cruise and visit Lake ​Ashi.

You ​might​ be able to capture whole ​​Mt. Fuji from there.

You will also visit Takayama, Shirakawago(Mountain Settlement) where they are famous for their traditional gassho-zukuri farm houses and some of which are more than 150 years ago.

Day 1(30 March) : London
Depart from London Heathrow Airport

Day 2(31 March): Tokyo

Arrive at Narita airport. Meet with English Speaking Assistant and transfer to Hotel and free time at your leisure in the evening.

Accommodation:Shinjuku Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku or similar 


Day 3(1 April) : Tokyo

Breakfast at your hotel. Join a full day tour of Tokyo by private coach. In the tour, you will visit Meiji Shrine which is located in Shibuya with its two magnificent gates which are made of 1,500-year-old cypress. After that, visit the Japanese House of Parliament and Senso-ji Buddhist temple, one of Tokyo's most colourful and popular historic locations. After lunch at a local restaurant,you will be taken for a cruise around Tokyo Bay before landing in Odaiba to explore this up-and-coming hot spot with some of the best views of the city. In the afternoon, enjoy a performance of traditional Japanese dance before being taken back to your hotel.

Free time at your leisure in the evening.

Day 4Tokyo - Kamakura- Tokyo

Breakfast at your hotel. Join a full day tour of Kamakura and Tokyo by private coach. First stop of the tour is the 900-year-old  Jomyoji temple. Enjoy Tea ceremony and view Hokokuji templethroughout the rest of the morningin. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Kotokuin Buddha which has watched over Kamkura since in 1252. Next stop is Enoshima, enjoy its beautiful seaside scenery on this small island in Kanagawa prefecture. Once you are back from enjoying the countryside of Kamakura, visit Ginza, Tokyo's famous upmarket district for fashion and shopping.Finally, return to your hotel and relax.

Day 5(3 April) : Tokyo - Hakone -Tokyo

08:00-08:30

After breakfast depart from the lobby of the Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo's Main Tower in Shinjuku. The bus will head out of Tokyo and up to Mt Fuji’s 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level. At this height, participants will be amazed at the spectacular, breath-taking views from above the clouds. If Mt. Fuji's 5th Station cannot be reached due to road surface freezing or an accident on the Fuji Subaru Line, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions.

 

Enjoy a cruise on Lake Ashi which was formed formed by a powerful volcanic eruption nearly 3,000 years ag, and provides postcard views of Mt. Fuji. Admire the superb view of Mt. Fuji from aboard a ship. Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles on the mountaintop. Depart Hakone and proceed to Odawara Station by bus. Board the Kodama Shinkansen to Tokyo in the non-reserved section. 18:00-20:00 After arrival, please head to your next destination on your own from Tokyo Station.

Day 6(4 April) : Tokyo- Takayama

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Takayama by coach. If the group consists of fewer than 10 people, transfer by train to Takayama. After you arrive in Takayama, enjoy free time at your leisure.

Day 7(5 April) : Takayama- Shirakawago- Kanazawa

Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy the Takayama Morning market which is one of the biggest morning markets in Japan. Visit the historic village of Shirakawago, one of Japan's UNESCO World Heritage sites. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to Kanazawa by train. Arrive at Kanazawa Station and enjoy free time at your leisure.

Day 8(6 April) : Kanazawa- Kyoto

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Kyoto by coach (If the group consists of fewer than 10 people, transfer by train to Kyoto.) Upon arrival, visit Heian Jingu Shrine which was built in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto in 1895, on the 1100th anniversary of the transfer of the capital from Nara to Kyoto. Sanjusangendo is the popular name for Rengejo-in, a temple in eastern Kyoto which is famous for its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy. Kiyomizu-dera was founded in 778 and its present buildings were constructed in 1633. Transfer back to your hotel and relax.

Day 9(7 April) : Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto

Breakfast at your hotel. Visit Nijo castle which is a flatland castle in Kyoto and was established in 1679 by Tokugawa Shogunate. Thereafter, observe Kinkaku-ji, officially named Rokuon-ji is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto. 

Next visiting place is Kitano Tenmangu which was built over 1,000years ago. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then transfer to Nara, former Japan's capital and is a relaxed town. 

Visit Todaiji temple where you will find the world's biggest blonze of buddha and Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the most celebrated shrine in Nara. 

You will then be taken to Nara Nagomikan where you can find over 3,000 items focused on Japanese and Nara Style.

Transfer back to your hotel and relax.
